Welcome! The Organizers, Marisa Roberto, Ph.D and George F. Koob, Ph.D, invite you to the second international congress on Alcoholism and Stress to be held in Volterra, Italy on May 3-6, 2011.

This is an international meeting aimed at bridging ongoing independent programs in alcoholism and stress research in Europe and the United States. The conference program will integrate basic and clinical research with a specific focus on developing preventive strategies and pharmacotherapeutic remedies for stress- and alcohol-related biomedical phenomena. This program will have relevance to basic researchers, clinicians, clinical researchers, and policy makers.
